Ministry Formation
Center

Ministry Formation is an integral part of the Seminary.

All BA Degree Completion students are required to complete an Arno Profile, complete a Ministry Formation Plan, and meet with a Faculty Mentor.

All Graduate Degree students may request an Arno Profile, complete, and meet with a Faculty to discuss Ministry Formation.

Ministry Formation

NTS has a Ministry Formation Center that provides intentional intergenerational mentoring and modeling relationships of service and ministry.

It is our goal that every BA Pathway student would deepen their understanding of faith, service, and a call to ministry (Lay or Ordained).

Dr. Cassandra Montgomery, Ministry Formation

Center Director, is an experienced Pastoral Counselor

with experience in diverse student settings.

The Center serves as a primary connecting point

between students, administrators, faculty, and

pastoral counselors credentialed by the

National Christian Counselors Association.

Students are encouraged to engage in Ministry Formation through:

  • APS Temperament Profile Requirement

  • Spiritual Assessment Requirement

  • Ministry Experience / Community Service Requirement

  • Personal Journaling Requirement

  • Optional Bible Study

  • Optional Formation Groups

  • Optional Pastoral Counseling with Dr. Montgomery

  • Optional Ministry Support / Coaching with Dr. Duncan

Students have access to Pastoral Counseling from NCCA Counselors via Zoom video conferencing.
