Terry King, D.Min

Visiting Faculty

Terry King has been married to Linda and ministered full time since 1972. They have two adult sons and one granddaughter. Terry's teaching and equipping calling has taken him across the United States and to thirty-nine countries. Terry has served as a pastor, conference and seminar speaker, Bible college instructor and academic dean. The Kings have been based in Hagerstown, Maryland since 1993, having previously lived in Zimbabwe for five years and the Philippines for four years.

Terry’s academic preparation includes two Master of Arts degrees in Cross Cultural Communication (Wheaton College, IL) and in Leadership Development (Azusa Pacific University, CA) and a Doctor of Ministry degree (DMin) from Vision International University USA. He currently serves as the executive director of Leadership Development Resources (www.ldronline.org). LDR is a leadership training and coaching organization. LDR team members teach regularly on every continent. In addition to active teaching and coaching, LDR serves as a resource for starting and evaluation of ministry training programs and schools with a particular focus on curriculum. Terry is also one of the founders and serves as the team coordinator for a global family of ministers called Alliance International Ministries (www.aimteam.org).

Terry is passionate about the transformation that comes personally when one submits to the King and dedicates one’s life to extending Kingdom influence in all areas of life. Active in the city of Hagerstown, MD where he lives, Terry is also a Board Member and First Vice Chair of the Greater Hagerstown Committee, a local nonprofit catalyst for economic growth & progress for the region and a former board member of the Hagerstown Rotary Club.
